MYD Services, Inc. began as Maid Your Day, Inc. in 1994 as a Housekeeping service. Barbara Lamm Smith created the company through tremendous hard work and dedication, attention to detail, a focus on building relationships, and by using her gifts of service and creativity. While cleaning, Barbara would notice a burnt-out light bulb or a clogged air filter. Rather than overlooking these things she would take the time to solve the problem. She developed lasting relationships with many families, some still clients today. The genuine care for each client led to a growth in business. Barbara began to realize her customers were not only in need of housekeeping, but also for help with other home needs and aging parents. This resulted in the development of home care services, where the same attention to detail is even more important. Quality caregivers, available nurses, and specific care plans are just a few of the reasons our home care division stands out above the rest. We take pride in being a small company with a big heart to care for each family.
